The geomorphic design of the Viscaria (Viscaria-Copperstone, Sweden) mine dumps and mine ponds, carried out by our group in collaboration with Vast-la, has obtained the authorization to operate this new mine in boreal and arctic environments in Northern Sweden, being the first mine in Europe to operate from the beginning with a Geomorphological Restoration approach.
