The invention relates to a process for the finishing of artificial slopes, for the control of surface water erosion and to promote the revegetation (or natural plant colonization) of these surfaces, by making parallel and continuous furrows, oriented downslope. The base of the furrows may have a secondary incision to decompact the soil in the desired way. The invention also refers to bucket teeth for earth and rock moving machines with which to carry out this procedure.

The invention relates to a method for preparing the soil during the finishing phase of slope construction and other slope maintenance operations, in particular, to promote revegetation and reduce erosion. The method for preparing the surface of slopes includes the use of an implement having a roller arranged as a central axis and a series of tines protruding from the surface of the roller perpendicular to the diameter of the roller and distributed around the roller in such a way that when rolling over the ground they produce a spatial pattern of impacts on the surface of the ground, as irregular and random as possible
